Having trouble locating this engine suffix code.
I'm not pulling up anything for "HCR"

Google "small block hcr" and see what you find.

Looks like a 327 from 1966, Tonawanda plant. 275HP, Powerglide, 4bbl Rochester.

Probably not a Corvette as the tables say that 3858180 was a 1965-only for the 'vette. So probably truck or Chevelle or Camaro or passenger car (other). I'm no authority, I just looked at the tables that I found.

Looks like "other" just found this on a Vette site.

"the HCH and HCR suffixes WERE used just once, on '66 pass car engines"

HCH was the 66 327 with Holley carb. HCR was same motor for the Impala 275 HP powerglide with Rochester carb
