Help with XJ bumper

Most of the custom shops like Metalwerx and MarsFab can't compete with the ordered stuff on line. Not that they aren't as good or skilled but because to make a custom bumper they have more tied up in it than it's worth. I've spoken to Scott and Chris on this subject and both told me pretty much the same thing.

I always let customers know...Unless you want something unique, or strong enough for serious offroading, custom shops don't compete, dollarwise, with the mass produced Chinese baubles you can buy.
 
To my knowledge there aren't many/any companies making a tube style bumper for XJs. Only plate and square tube.

Check out Proto Fab in Arizona. They are a smaller Made in America type shop, not the shitty bilt mass produced Ching Chong Dong garbage. I have ran a couple of their bumpers on ZJ's and have been super pleased with materials, fit and finish.
