I watched the shorter video first and was expecting the big hook to pick up your trailer. Then I watch the other video and understood what monster killed your trailer.
I had a crawler that I was scrapping at one point. I actually had to cut a deal with a guy to come get it and take it off for like half the cash. We both made $800.00. It was heavy!
AHHHHHHHH DUDE!!!! You killed a classic! Really, any chance it ran? Some guys actually restore stuff like that, just like cars & trucks are collected & restored.
Yeah it looked like pretty much evrything was there, would have been a good start for a restoration I hate seeing stuff like that going to scrap, but I do know the other side of it were you can't get it sold and just want to get money for it so scrap it. Just makes me kinda sad to see that kinda stuff getting gone.
Well the engine was seized and the hydraulics were full of crap. The guy I got it from is a heavy equipment mechanic and said it wasn't worth fixing and no one would buy it for parts.
Did the tracks freewheel enough to get it on the trailer? What a job! You need to be on that new TV show where they haul all the oddball stuff.
Now take all that hard earned money and go buy a Landall Haulall trailer with the 20k winch and the rollers on the deck. I will rent you a truck to pull it with that has a souped up PTO Hydraulic pump.
Fortunately the tracks turned pretty well. Easier in reverse than forward. I have no idea what the green trailer is rated at but I got it from a heavy equipment company.
