hello everyone. duke daddy here (i was named after John Wayne -john wayne byrd-, and i have four kids so the handle, duke daddy made sense to me)

i am new to NC 4x4 and to the sport. i know a little about traditional hot rods, i can do a little body work and can spray a mean coat of primer ;) and i love old trucks so i thought i would join you guys here.

i have made one post under "newbie tech" and i wanted to thank the guys who responded for being NICE!!! (man the world is hard enough, if/when you go to a place to hang out with like minded folks it's good to be welcomed) THANK YOU.

can someone PLEASE tell me how to send a PM... :) thanks in advance!

have a great day!

Welcome! Glad you found us and glad you're liking it here so far. :)

If you look at the top left corner, under the image and next to your name, there is a button that says "Inbox." Once you're there, there is another button near the top right that says "Start a New Conversation." Another way to do it is if you click on the user's name in a thread, a little box pops up in the middle and "Start a Conversation" is one of the options.

Hello, and welcome. Although I am just a newb myself. This is a very informative and well manicured site, full of great people. So I have gathered so far...

Rodney, i am in johnston co. i am building a 49 chevy truck- truck is 2 wheel and i plan a frame clip or a NAPCO type bolt in. i will try to get some pics up soon. and i will fill in my profile page too :)

Kamel- this is a clean site! (i was a graphic designer in another life, and the layout is "fresh" i just have to get used to some of the buttons...) ya'll be good

And never mind that all of us don't know our right from our left! ;)
