So what's next in the plans? I think the Bronco turned out great. I loved checking in on it about 5 times a day. :bounce2: You did a great job managing it too. So tell me what is next in that crazy mind of yours? I'm sure you have some thoughts? Is it another build up or maybe something totally different?

Dylan, you should definitely be a Project Manager in construction or engineering. From what I have seen on the threads, You handled time, money, and resources as good or better than many professional PMs I know.

lol..thanks..where should I send my resume?

Begin new job as neighborhood lawnmower mechanic............or

Take over the NC phase of the SFWDA Raffle Jeep, http://sfwda.org/rtjeep/index.htm

I could get plenty of work from my neighbors lawn mower..lol

I have already bought 2 chances to win the SFWDA jeep.
What N.C. phase are you talking about, JC?

I have been spreading the word about it.

I might seriously start selling 4x4 printed umbrellas...if it would ever rain around here!

Maybe you should have your own build-up show on Spike or Speed Channels. Change your name to Ian or Jessi.

I would like to see the Bronco transformation in a big magazine.
That would be cool. I have seen lesser transformations in the before and after pages, in one of the big mags.
I will have to ask Rob what he thinks, since I would really want to call it the NC4X4 Bronco, and tell the story of it. Dont know if he wants NC4X4 mentioned or not.

Dylan......

Send an Email to Bronco Driver Magazine. im sure they would be all over this.

Thanks Bigred. I will try to work on that. I may call on you for some help with it.
I still want to find out from Rob, if he cares if we mention NC4X4. After all, thats a big part of the deal...everyone on here working together to get the Bronco done.

Looking back...this was a big, cool project. The project(not me) deserves some national attention, IMO.

All this is assuming they will print and run the article.

I vote Toyota for this years Raffle...

Maybe find one with a crappy body and then pay Quickracer or one of the other "bender boys" to do a FToy-like buggy frame for it?

BUDGET:

$750 for running Yota 4x4 +
$1500ish for buggy +
labor to move over everything, axles, etc +
weld the rear +
possibly some gears / dual tcases? +
used 35s...

Say $2500 in cash needed that is 100 tickets x $25...

Just my thought!! Certainly something I would love to win... I realize the buggy frame part will add some costs (will have to get quotes from the guys who are interested) but I think that really would draw in some interest?

I am willing to paint it, heh...and cash for tickets of course.

Yota is a great option. I'd look more at $1500 to buy it and then 35's - crank the torsion bars and shackels. Call it done unless you want to put in a timing chain and dress it up some.

Sure Dylan, if you need anything, just ask.

As far as the next project, Why not get started. Begin selling tickets now for next years race. 1st 6 months to raise capitol. 2nd 6 months to collect donations and labor volunteers.

Since we would have all year, why not build the project with budget in mind and what ever is left at finish let donate to save URE or Tellico, or some other equally worthy charity.

^^Yeah, i think it's still a little early yet.

I did e-mail the Bronco guys. I gave them a brief story of what we have done with the Bronco and told them to get back at me for all the details..if they are interested in the entire story. We will see what happens.
