Came out pretty good, if I do say so myself. And it made more of I change than I thought it would!

Thanks again.

That was the idea, yeah. :D

I still haven't made up my mind whether to leave the plastic end caps on or take them off, yet.

what was wrong with the stock one??? and why the push mower handle for a grille guard??? (note: not trying to be funny, thats just what it looks like to me)

different strokes for different folks i guess

Is there only one bolt holding those tow hooks to the bumper? Not knowing much about Jimmys, is that one bolt attached just to the bumper or does it go through some framerails?

The plastic has got to go. Other than that it looks kinda cool. Whats up with the hoop though, your fog lights arnt atached to it or anything so whats the point of it? No nockin it or anything, just wanderin.

Questions, questions... okay, yeah, I wanted to go for a more military look, plus this one is flat and square, none of those goofy ridges and crap like the stock one has. The hoop used to be a handle from a warehouse-style flat cart, and it IS pretty heavy-duty steel. Right now it's just bolted on, as are the hooks, because eventually I want to be able to get actual Jeep add-ons instead. And yeah, I realize one bolt each on those hooks isn't the strongest thing in the world, but here's the thing... underneath the bumper is a length of steel similar to a road-sign mounting post, and it's actually thicker than the bumper is and almost as long. That's bolted straight to the frame, then the bumper's bolted to that. I plan to get some longer bolts and drill right thru bumper AND rail and add another to each hook.

Oh, and the bug deflector stays. Period. :flipoff2:
