I have to crunch a butt-ton of numbers and I'm trying to find a better way. What they are are charts and tables that look all the same but need to be expanded to include 365 days of data instead of the 60 days that are present.

Anyway, isn't there a paintbrush that copies a format of one spreadsheet and can be applied to another? Would this include expanding the data like I have to manually? If I could at least get the charts to format automatically it would save me a bunch of time.

Thanks.

There's a add-on for Excel called "SPC XL". It is a pretty power tool to do large charts and running data type stuff. I don't know a ton about it bc I just discovered it myself, but I can have to track a lot of manufacturing data and this add-on makes it a ton easier to add in my data and update all my charts. Give it a look...it might be helpful.

OC,

Try Paste - Special - formats. works for columns and such, not sure about charts.

right before I checked this I thought about that. that's what typically happens. I ask a question then aswer myself. I'll also check out the SPC XL. I'm damn near 30 and still learning Excel. I just learned about Pivot Tables this year
