lol..unfortunatly, its not my hand.

The fella's over on ih8mud.com (landcruiser site) have been putting these things on their cruisers and seeing 20-50% increase in mileage.

http://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/216983-hho-injection-generator-results.html

its 4 pages long, so heres the short version.

$500.00

Hydrogen improves the way gasoline burns in an engine, it does not power the engine

1 gallon of vinegar per 1000 miles a $2.50

Draws 5-9 amps

1-5 liters of hydrogen per hour

apparently works better on carbs

Spend $50 bucks and home depot and build one yourself if your skeptical.

Read the entire thread. good info. im still not 100% convinced, but seems logical.

and your response adds useful information to the topic how?

"Of course normal water is H2O, two Hydrogen atoms covalently bonded to an Oxygen atom. Writing it as HHO almost implies that the Hydrogen is the central atom in the molecule (for example, writing Sodium Hypochlorite as NaOCl instead of NaClO) with the Oxygen with another Hydrogen atom covalently bonded to it (not something that is prone to happen considering Hydrogen only needs 1 bond to fill its S orbital).
It claims this HHO is a gas, which would imply that the intermolecular forces of attraction between the molecules are significantly less than water. The Hydrogen bonded within the ordinary water molecule keeps it in the liquid phase when it would ordinarily be a gas at room temperature. HHO apparently lacks this Hydrogen bonding, which I guess would make sense, sort of, since the Oxygen might not be the central atom any more (assuming that is possible), but you will still have a an electronegativity difference between the “central” Hydrogen and the Oxygen, making the Oxygen side (along with its unbonded electron) negative, leaving the other side less negative, if not positive"

And thats from some guy on some website who says your guy with a PHd dont know Jack about HHO's molecular structure.

I didnt post this to discuss atom bonding. How do you feel about adding an HHO device to your car and do you have any proof of its ability or inability to produce better gas mileage?

haha ez on the hostilty I was just adding food for thought. Ill go sit back down in the back.

#1 it will have ZERO effect on a closed loop efi system.

#2 A water molecule gives up one of its hydrogen molecules with enough force to split a 2 bank engine block right in half. HHO=H20 if you want to burn Hydrogen you are going to need 1 HO and a free form Hydrogen molecule...

The guy's FJ60 is by his own admission running like shit.(Raw, unburned fuel smell, rough idle, etc) That invalidates any test immediately.

Rich, keep reading, there are others who are using the system. Hopefully the keep the thread alive and we can follow along.

Futbal, i was just being a smart ass. no hostility =)

Skyhi...i have no idea what any of that means. lol, i just did like futbal and posted the first thing i found on the web. Everyone on the web refers to this as an HHO system. i dont know why.

they discussed the non compatible issue with closed looped efi a little deeper into the thread but not by much.

I bought a similer system off ebay. I just installed it on my 89 crx yesterday and I have to get some distiled water and baking soda and then we will see if it works. The kit I bought had many feedbacks claiming double mpgs by installing this kit if so I should be in the 75-80 mpg range.

A guy I work with has a 93-95 VW Golf and has moved the mpg from 26 to 40...and he said when he gets a controller for the gas, he should hit 50...

I side note is that he's not some young punk...he's a 57 year old guy who has been doing his own research for a while

I have also been reading on this for sometime and read about many kits that are sold on line and chose the one that had the best feed back from the customer. But I guess I am just a young punk because I am only 24. Nevermind I will have been married 5 years this fall and have a 2 year old and another little one on the way. Also that my wife is a stay at home mom of 2 years and we have bought your house. I may be young but dont just go by age I dont live the life that most people my age live. I take care of my family and they some first. I have done a lot of research and I bought the kit that has the proof to have worked for other people so we will see what happends.

im pretty sure you read his statement totally wrong.

i would be willing to bet that all he meant was that the guy wasnt like some of my friends (stereotypical "young punks") who over exaggerate the hell out of everything in order to draw a reaction, therefore their credibility is questionable at best.

yeah i gotta feeling andrew didnt mean it that way.

Andrew, can you give some more detail of his system?

Not at all what I meant...

I'm so used to getting slammed on anything I say, I was merely defending that I knew that they guy I know, knows what he is doing as well. He's using some sort of water filtration tank that you would use in the house.
I haven't heard his latest numbers though...

I think he said he was staying at around 12 amps because too much more than that makes it leak...and get too hot...

I think that is what he said...

Bullardbs...my apologies...I meant nothing by it.

do a search on youtube for smackbooster
or www.smackbooster.com

or watercar yahoo group

I am curious about your set-up, I need to stop by anyway.

D

Any luck yet BullardBS?

I drove it to work today 30 miles one way and no problems ran the same had to drive a customers car home for work but will drive it home tomorrow and post up some numbers.
