Hi-Lift injury thread .....

Best/worst tool invented.

You cant replace the functionatlity and I have one in the back of my truck more times than not.

Yes, it will put a hurting on you if you dont know wtf you are doing.

@XJfreakHO had a good mark on his fore head for a while from one. Lol. I'll let him tell the story.
While picking up a scrap vehicle from a member here... I had to use a highlight to lift the truck off the ground because it was sitting on disintegrated phone books...
Long story short the handle snapped loose and whacked me in the temple.
I walked around dazed, mumbling and foaming at the mouth for about 45 seconds apparently before gaining my composure.

Basically, if your gonna fight me... Get a weapon because if that didn't knock me out, s fist never will ha-ha.

It was actually the Farm All knock off... Borrowed from a buddy.

I have used one for over 30 years now with nothing but good luck I guess with them, but I respect the heck out of it and have seen stuff happen with them. Never had mine drop. Used them in the sand boxes also and had them bend but never drop. Not sure how it would do that.

I will add though, they can be very dangerous in the wrong persons hands . They can and do have a mind of their own sometimes it seems.

Shawn & I used one to keep a Bronco on 44's from falling down a mountain.....they have their uses.

Almost got bit by a hi-lift handle once. Not on a jack though. Using the handle to crank down on chain binders. Grip slipped, handle flew about 100'. Switched to ratchet chain binders.

I broke two knuckles with a chain binder one time. Binder was pulled tight and I grabbed the chain to shake it (habit I guess) WHAP!!
