When: Saturday, the 30th.
Where: Uglyjeep headquarters (Newton Area, PM for directions)
What: Wrenching on the Heep, probably a bonfire, grille available for food I'll have some hot dogs and chips), I will provide "some" beer(bring more if you have a preference, I will have a place to keep it cold). Maybe a later night poker game or some PS2 action on the big screen.
If you need to work on your vehicle, bring it along. I have a welder, various cutting implements and almost any tool you would need.
I will be finishing up the cage install and herculining my interior.
No garage though, this is old school backyard by the shop wrenching.:flipoff2:
Post up if you are interested. It would make a good day to meet some locals, have some fun, maybe hack on something for a while, and finish up those last little things that never seem to get done.

This is a great idea. If Im free that night, Ill be there. Though Ill just be heckling all you guys working on stuff, as my jeep is finished.

HAHAHAHAHA! A finished 4x4. Riiiiight.

Sorry,
got my own wrenching to do.....but please let us know how your Herculiner goes. I am not an expert, but I had the impression you needed warmer temps for it to cure correctly.

I have a hair dryer...

Hopefully it will work out, though.

Anyone is welcome to bring their own Jeep to wrench on.

Dang it! I love bonfires, but I'll be in Wilmington that weekend, so won't be able to make it. You guys have fun, and be sure to take pics. Later.

As long as you don't mind the standard, potentially offensive banter between the guys. My personal "girl" will be out of town, but anyone is welcome to bring their own.

You have a PM.

And yeah, basically in Startown, but Newton City limits.

Yep as mine nears 40 I told her I was gonna trade her in for 2 20's.................she said I wasn't wired for 220:shaking:

I might come ........if you don't mind another Chevy in the bunch... Any need for a hydraulic pipe bender? Also got 110 stick and 115 wire feed welders.... I'll pm you later for directions.

I may swing by to criticize everyone elses work while adding nothing valuable to the event.

I'm going to try and make it. Need a heat gun or heater?
Either would help. I may have most of the Herculiner done by the weekend, but it depends on the weather.
If the herculiner is done, we can use it to stay warm.:shaking:

I think I will have what I need, welder wise. I really only have to weld in some tube sleeves for the seatbelt mounts, and my little 110 mig will do that.
As for the Chevy, I am sure I have enough tarps around to cover 2 of them...

I would accept no more, and expect no less...:flipoff2:
