HID's

eBay is full of 35 dollar kits. Do a search for H3 HID bulb kit.
I put them in my Trailblazer and they are great.

I actually have been looking on ebay, but my thought was does the same kits work for fog/driving lights as the kits for headlights? btw... ebay literally has hundreds

A H3 bulb is a H3 bulb. The module that comes with it will have to be mounted somewhere. Mine had a 12 inch lead on it. All you need is a hot from the switch and a ground. Very low amp draw on the HID's so a relay isnt mandatory.

i put them in my 500ffs, and they are BRIGHT... but the pattern isnt great. They dont have as wide a spread as with the regular bulbs, but the output they have makes up for it.

There's a good how-to on youtube how to modify the housing to fit the bulbs

There needs to be a good how-to on youtube for modifying your headlight housings with projectors so you're not blinding oncoming traffic with your poor light pattern and ridiculously bright output.

Fixed

if they are adjusted properly, and the driver isnt an idiot, you wont blind anybody. i've had these for 3 years and MAYBE 4-5 people have flashed their brights at me. Coincidently, all while i was pulling a trailer.

He was talking about his Hella 500 auxillary lights.
I have aftermarket HID's in my daily driver and with proper adjustment I get no complaints. Projectors do make a lot of difference in the pattern, but when they pop over a hill and hit you in the eyes they are pretty blinding as well.
