My local "reasonably"priced race fuel dealer quit selling unleaded race fuel last week so the only other local alternative dealer for unleaded race fuel is approx $9.00 a gallon............So i've been doing some research and i have been suggested to run aviation fuel (100 Low Lead) but it looks like there may be some issues with it as best as i can tell, but its also been suggested to use Torco Accelerator fuel additive that supposedly ups the octane number to 98 or more depending on the mix ratio. Is anyone familiar with this and have you used it and what was the result?

Heres the web site for reference

I've got 3 drums of VP I need to sell (15 gallon drums). They are a few years old, but leaded, so not sure if it does you any good. VP type MR9 and U4.

There's a few places around Mooresville for VP and Sunoco race gas (and Charlotte and Concord too), I'm not sure if that's what you mean by "local"...
