For those of you who seen my overheat post, go by the golden rule do the most simple first and that was airflow. Ofcourse I replaced everything first but I learned once again, easiest first.
Anyway I fixed the problem with a ford taurus e-fan and it sucks the power down. My fuel pump screams when that fan comes on. Anyone know an easy alternator swap for single groove pulley for a sbc? I know a dodge durango has 160 amp and would probably be easy to bolt up but not sure if I can just bolt on a pulley or not? And the wires run 2 to the battery and 1 to the ignition to tell it to come on?

Nevermind think I found a chevy caprice 140 amp bolt right up. I just gotta figure out what pins to use. Anybody know that one? Ofcourse big lead to battery jump over pin "s" to the battery and I think hook pin "L" to a ignition switch. Not sure if it needs resistance or not though.
