high performance transmission shop?

putting an LS2 in my buggy and wanna rebuild my TH350 man valve body to handle more horses. any shop references?

the valve body has nothing to do with the torque it can handle.
how much hp are you talking about?
a 350 is only good to 500-550 max

I believe Cutler is saying he needs to rebuild his TH350, which is a manual vb

The motor is a 6.0 ls2 rated 400 hp and with the tune I am using it will yield 450hp/450ftlb. My transmission needs be built for that and currently has a rev manual valve body. I have a new 2200 stall converter.

Bobby L of L&R built a 700R4 for me years ago. Great work at a more than fair price.

L&R raped me over a Subaru trans. Was back twice for warranty work and they never made it right. And I couldn't call the price "fair", either. Brown's in East Bend does good work at a fair price. Warren's on South Main in Winston has a great rep, too, and seem very competent when I've talked to them. Both seemed like they would be able to handle a performance rebuild.

Guys name is James and is great guy. He put new bearings in my 07 dodges 6spd for a really great price and builds a lot of diesel autos. I asked him not long ago about building a turbo 350 for a friends project and I believe the price was 500 but I would call to confirm.

if you can't do a performance build on a 350, you need to take transmission out of your business name.

i charge $600 with a stall converter of your choice(500 with stock stall)
