I'd try to find an xj factory hitch with the nutserts. Several manufactures make tow brackets for the front. Make sure you get one that goes to the big bolt 6" or 8" back on the front frame. Go to NAXJA.org and search under the mod tech section and all kinds of info is available.

Check out Tractor Supply for the Reese tow hooks. They have the 10,000lbs rated Reese hooks at a reasonable price.

check your local scrap yards for the c4c cars and you can pick up a hitch on the cheep
