Dear friends,
I have attached details of a dog needing immediate placement---preferably foster care, but permanent if desired. If you know of anyone who can help, or if you could send this on or print it and put it up on your work notice board, that might help. Prayer for finding a good home before my friend Karen is deployed this Saturday morning would also be most appreciated!
It would be most expedient to contact Karen directly. She lives in Garner, and her email address is gershwin123@hotmail.com . Other contact info is on the attached poster. My home # is 919-942-6841, and I will be happy to help facilitate in any way. Thanks for anything you can do to help spread this word.
Thanks,
Debbie Bettis
HOME OR FOSTER URGENTLY NEEDED
OWNER BEING DEPLOYED THIS WEEKEND!

>Age (in years): 4
>Spayed/Neutered: Yes
>Type of Adoption: Permanent
>Veterinarian Name: Sara Lash

Zoe is a female, 4 year old, indoor dog who also loves to play outside. I rescued her from the pound when she was 2yrs old. She had been abused and was very timid. With a lot of love and reassurance she has become a lovable girl who loves to snuggle and play ball. She is an alpha female who does better with other dogs who are more docile. She does well around children but I do not know how she is with cats since I do not have any. I am in the medical branch of the Army reserves and recently received orders that I will be deploying overseas for 6-12 months. I thought that I had found Zoe a home but the family that wanted to take her is now unable to. I am leaving this Saturday and need to find a home asap. I have exhausted all of my local contacts and desperately want to find her a loving home. I would consider either having someone foster her while I am gone or placing her permanently in a loving home. If willing to foster her I will pay for all of her food, treats, and any veterinary expenses while I am gone. I can be contacted at either 919-779-7309 or 919-389-1931.
Thank you,
Karen Lehman

There was a photo with the email, but for some reason I can't either Save it or Cut/Paste it. The dog looks mostly like a Lab but with maybe some Rottweiler (brown on face) and other (white on chest). If anyone can help, use the contact info above ASAP!
