Anyone make some gifts this year?

My brother and I made a deck cooler for my mom out of liberated pallets.

Also I made a bottle tree from some rebar.

I used to enjoy making my own Xmas cards to send out back 12-16 years ago when I had time. I used to cut them out of beer packages, pizza boxes or whatever and draw something up stupid on the blank side. I found out how lenient the post office was (at least back then) as long as it had a stamp on it. Wished I had a digital camera back then too.

I recall sending out pictures I drew colored up of Bubba Clause with a V8 sled and some drunk Santa cartoons.

I gave each family a 50lb bag of rice and instructions on how to store it in 2L soda bottles.
Fuckin normalcy bias gonna kill a lot of people....

Somehow I don't think you're anyone's favorite uncle at Christmas. :D
LOL, until the zombies come, then I will be a Fn legend.
I got them other things individually :) but $15/50lbs of rice is a cheap lesson and will create further dialog and hopefully get them thinking right.

Since I tore down the old home place ive had several requests for some of the wood. So this is going to my aunt. Mom bought some old porcelian knobs for it. The nails were still in this piece...think its a coatrack

my one day dream is a little crappy cabin on the Cape Fear River and that would fit my catfishing and beer drinking theme perfectly!!
