Honda foreman 4x4 winch question

This is tech but not for a jeep .......
Installing a warn 25 winch on a 07 foreman 500 4x4 ATV. Where do most put the solinoid pack? Clean Dry place close to battery recomended. Looked at several places, but where is best? Gotta drill holes and would like to get it right th first time. Thanks, KC

If i needed one on my 06 Rancher, I would put it on the handle bars. Because when i go riding im under mud and water up to 4ft deep.
