Fired up my Devilbiss pressure washer (15yrs old) with a honda GC160 5.0hp motor for my son who was looking for something to work off his Sponsorship debt. It was just to show him how to not burn up the pump and make marks all over the drive, while I was at work. Took a few pulls to get it started and once it started it decided to start puking gas. So I shut it down and with rain was coming so I decided to look at it another day. Well last night I didn't see anything obvious where the fuel was coming from and all had evaporated from the last time. SO I started it up again and found that it was leaking from the fuel pump just a minor drip now when it idled down when the trigger was let go. I figure the pump had gummed up with varnish or something. Fuel was coming out of a hole that looked like it could have been a pressure relief valve or something. Should I replace it? I don't want him running it and it decides to let go while he isn't paying attention. It was dumping fuel the first time but now like I said it is minimal. Anybody explain why it would stop dumping?

Wrong place? Should it be in gen tech?
