Thats nothing....you should see the bridge that the transporter we hired hit with a generator a few years back....
The generator damage was in excess of $650,000...the bridge was deemed no longer safe for vehicular traffic. It was an Interstate over pass. The trucking company would have went banrupt if not for insurance but 3 MM claims will do that to you.

There's a railroad bridge here in Raleigh that catches a truck every 6mos or so. It's just a city street, but they end up looking like that.

12'-8" overpasses are a bitch. Juuuuust high enough that it might catch you unawares.... for a second, anyway.

Not nearly as bad, but back at my last job we had a newb truck driver driving a 24' box truck. Came back in at the end of the day with a hole torn in the front corner of the box big enough to pass a basketball through, and he honestly had no idea how he did it. Dumbass.

Was that generator held down with straps or chains :flipoff2: :lol:
 
A couple of weeks ago my coworker was going home on Western Blvd and had to detour around the Pullen Road exit ramps because a guy towing a front end loader (or something) ripped off the bucket on the overpass/bridge... put a big dent in the I beam, too. :shaking:
