The girlfriend has been talking about going horseback riding sometime this spring. I know you can ride at the Biltmore Estate (too expensive) and in Love Valley. Just wondering if there's anywhere else where we could get some horses and ride a few trails.

I live in Statesville and she lives in Hickory. Someplace in within an hour or two of either location would be great.

There are lots of places around Asheville to go. Wolf Laurel has trail rides, another place is Sandy Bottom Trail Rides, Riverside Riding Stables, Cedar Creek Stables, Pisgah Forest Riding Stables, and Pisgah View Ranch just to name a few. I believe all these have websites you can look at to get more information.

Don`t do it, because then she will want one :shaking:.

If you must, I recommend the beaches of Mexico. It`s cheap and romantic. More benefit for you :flipoff2:

Dave talk to Justin. I believe his family runs a stable in Clover.

Uwharrie is another option.

She had one when she was in highschool. I doubt she'll want another one. She wants to live in the city (no room) AND she's not the type that would do all the dirty work that comes with owning a horse.

I totally forgot about that. I'll shoot him a message. Thanks

I knew they had a stable out there, but I thought it was BYOH. I'll look into that too.

Thanks all.
