With the season quickly coming to the end at URE for the season, let's hear your best story or just say thanks to Terry for all his efforts. He is a true friend and has helped me so much.....

He has "hooked" my son and my gfs 2 boys so much that we have to drive to the double parking lot on Saturdays for his hotdogs and a good story and a safe place for them to see "monster" trucks. Terry does more than one could ever dream of to even be there(many hoops to jump through) but on the flip side the forrest service sees him as much as an ambassador as we do a friend.

Here's to ya buddy....this is someone im thankful to know and proud to call a close friend.

Post up ur stories or just say thanks

I have a million stories about the ole' Hotdog guy..most of them before he was the hotdog guy. Terry has been a good friend, for what, 15 years now?

Anyone ever seen this guy in jeans? How about shirtless, doing the dog paddle on Lake Hickory..lol

I have!

Stories about Terry? This one time at Band camp...

Hell any stories I have would be more along the lines of the great and funny Stories He's told me. I've spent some time with Terry, but I'd certainly like to sit around a campfire and listen to him over a drink or 12. More damn interesting and hilarious stories out of him than about anybody else I know.

I spent a good full day with Terry when the season first opened at URE this year. I wasn't wheeling that day and decided to jus hang out and shoot the shit. Ended up helping with the stand a bit as well. We shared tons of stories though he definitely has way more interesting ones that I do! One of the most extraodinary things I've learned about Terry is the man has never met a stranger. He befriends everyone he meets and he remembers their name too. Always courteous, funny and willing to lend a helping hand.

I run into him everywhere I go and he always makes sure to take time out to say hey. He even gave me a ride to the gas station at the BDB spring event at the farm this year. (That's one damn nice 4-runner I got to ride in!)

Thanks for all that you do Terry!

went and bugged the shit outta terry about 8 years ago when i got my first offroad rig, a 72 fj. I ended up selling that turd tho. Bought his turqueer highlift jack. And he got to see me bust my ass in the mud at uwharrie about 7 years ago at the entrance to daniels. Fun times.

Well last Saturday was my first time at URE (and first time meeting Terry) - me and the 2 kids came up to check out the event and hit the trails. After meeting up with LevelLineBrad and taking a short ride up the trail and back - kids were hungry (so was I). I assumed they wanted to head back to the stables to eat. Got all the way back and my little girl says - "but Dad, we wanted lunch from The Hot Dog Guy" - son follows with, "yeah, that guy was awesome - let's go back" - so back we did. Damn glad we did too, the dogs rocked and everyone was happy.

Don't know him that well, but thought the story was a tribute to just how likable a guy (and how good those dogs are).
