House Fire in Carolina Beach last night?

One code alot of people are adopting is they won't allow pinestraw next to a structure in flower beds ect and we have to check for that in the pre plans which varies due ot residential or commercial structure.

In answer to you remark Dylan from what I understand is the fire spread ( typical trakc of fire is up and outwards) up and due to the construction type of the roof after it built it essentially trapped them upstairs.

Not an architect or engineer (nor play one on TV).
But wouldn't clossing in soffits pretty much eliminate their point of being there in the first place?
 
In all reality there at times I wish we ran like that due to most fire apparatus wrecks occuring at intersections and it never fails that someone just has to cut us off. Me personally i figure that big bumper is on the truck for a reason and have seen people psh cars out the way with it. :driver:
