I am glad they won, I am. I am not a die hard unc fan but giving a choice I like unc (even if we do have cry babies on the team) and unc has bragging rights now. But what I'm not looking forward to is the weeks boasting and blah blah blah.
 
I'm glad they won. At least a local and ACC team won. I'm not a Carolina fan by no means, but I do pull for them as they are local.

I knew they would win. Told the wife it wasn't even goiong to be close, and it really wasn't

Good for UNC. Too bad Duke didn't get there :D

I've been drunk in Chapel Hill a few times?
So that gives me more loyalty to them than you should have to NC State.
Since we all know you can't drink until you're 21.

That said, I was pulling for them for two reasons.
1. Local/ACC. Other than Duke, I'll pull for any ACC team.
2. Can't let Michigan catch a break. Gots to kick a state when they are down. :lol: (That and the guy that sits beside me at work was an MSU alum, drove up there for the game, so now I'm just waiting for him to come back.)
 
Yeah baby! I'm glad they won. I've been a UNC fan since I was born. Had a few relatives go there over the years. I always have and always will pull for UNC no matter how good or bad they are. I just can't bring myself to pull for anyone else.

Anyway, I saw on ESPN this morning that UNC won the tournament with a 20.2 pt margin of victory average. i think the least they won by was 12, iirc.

Honestly, do you know anyone who went to carolina and didnt come back with a huge "Im better than you attitude"? I only know of maybe 2, 3? and I know tons of people who went there.

I agree 100%. However, I grew up watching UNC basketball and I'm not gonna turn my back on it.

Hey, at least you've got a legit reason. Not like the masses that hate Duke just because the media tells them too. (hint: UNC's journalism school is one of the largest in the country)
