How Can I Reset My ABS Light?

I put coil spring spacers on the front end of my Tacoma & the 32x11.50's drove it down my driveway & backed back up the driveway to lift the back of the truck. In the little time of having the 32's on the front & 225's on the rear was enough to set off my abs light.....I was hoping that it would reset itself once I got the 32' on all fours & drove it but it hasn't. I tried unhooking the positive battery cable for 3-5 minutes but it just came back on once I started the truck. Can it be reset by leaving the battery unhooked for a longer time or what do I have to do?

You probably left something unhooked. Might need to find someone with a scan tool that can read the abs and see what it says, then clear it. how far have you driven it with the tires on it? Sometimes it may take short awhile.

I didn't unhooked the abs wires/sensors & have probably drove 30-40 miles since I installed the lift this past Saturday. It happened after I worked on the front & before I worked on the rear so that should tell me its something on the front if something is wrong I'd assume. I'll double check the wires anyway just to make sure. Does AutoZone or Advance Auto have a scanner that will read the abs?

No they do not have one that can read toyota ABS .Do you have any mechanic friend with access to a scan tool?
If you did no unhook the sensors then when you lifted it you may have damaged the wires at the front sensors fro some reason the sensor wires are very fragile .

I'm sure the light came on due to the different tire sizes front to rear. This made the ABS controller see a difference in wheel speed front to back.
I know on Chrysler products (what I work on) that you can disconnect the battery (like you have tried) and turn off the light. Maybe try pulling the main ABS relay for fuse for a fe minutes and see what that does. You just need to erase its memory. If not, you may need to drop by the local Toyota dealer with a $10 gift card for a local lunch spot...close to lunch time, near the shop. Catch my drift?
