How do I remove this faucet hose?

I have a delta kitchen sink with the pull down nozzle (sprayer). Well the hose has a split and I have a new hose to replace it now. I can’t figure out how to disconnect the hose from the faucet. Can some one give me some knowledge? Below is the fitting I am referring to.

If it's like the one I put in recently, there's a special tool. Its kind of like a SharkBite thing that pushes up on teh ring while you pull out.

tried that first, decided to ask the experts next (ie here )

Finally got it, push up on the white collar and then pull like hell on the hose.

now I can’t get the dang new hose fed back down

Every home project takes me atleast 3 additional trips to Lowes, etc.
