How do you know when the "Rat Rod" thing has gone too far?

for sale 1962 international truckcar, has every optional that a car could have ,has frontwheel drive driveline disk brakes all around , has air bags that are in working order has oldsmobile dash with tilt cruise , power seats , air -did work but i low of freon due from setting -can drive it anywhere, every light works as well as new cab lights allready has grandam door handles installed and work great, has alloy wheels and this truck has a good title which is titled as a international, has a grand am rear with the original duel exhaust, car is fuel injected and there are no check engine lights on?everthing is in working order but the aircondition is low of freon call if interested to much to list lots of time put in this car , have to many other projects to ,do so call 606 456 7738 -no emails please -price is firm -have probly twice as much invested .-this vehicle will be sold where is as is...thanks

My guess is there is a problem with the car title such as an unpaid leinholder so to them it was free and they had a title to the truck so made it happen.
 
OH EM GEE. WTF is this and why would anyone in their right mind want to buy it. This thing is full of FAILSAUCE!!!
 
From the front it looks like the truck is eating the car. I'd be surprised if it didn't fall apart when driven.
 
I can only hope this was a joke and they werent really trying to do that.

On another note... Being a hard core car guy... If I see another repainted (rat rod flat black) high dollar street rod with a 3 grand interior, trying to pass as a home built rat rod... I am gonna puke!:shaking:
These guys would follow any trend and sit beside it all day in a sling chair. Its a car! Build it! Drive it! Race it! Get some bugs on the grill! I made every one mad at the last fundraiser car show because I dont like sitting beside my car all day. I would crank it up and go get lunch or just have some fun running arround the grounds, then come back and park it in the spot. You would have thought I commited a crime.

That one a them Crossover SUV's? Gonna see if my wife will let us trade up for that. If the a/c works, prolly take it on our upcoming vacation trip. Gotta move quik on this deal...later.
 
At first I thought it was ugly and a terrible idea. Now I'm wondering if the truck cab is segregated from the rear seat area by the cab wall. In that case, I'm totally buying that for my road trips with the two kids. :lol:
 
Tommy, I'm 111% with you on the high dollar rat rod thing, I'm so sick of it.

This thing, I guess he had this stuff laying around and it was a "what if?" moment.

Ever notice all cars on Craigslist are "low on freon" or "ac needs charged"?

Same thing in every circle, I guess. I know a guy with over 30 classic guitars that never get played. But, they look so cool hanging on the wall!
Its just wrong on a lot of levels.
 
congrats dumb ass you have just saved a car that should have been crushed and fucked a truck that should have been saved...
