How do you replace the oil pan gasket?

1994 Toyota pickup 3.0 v6
I'm looking to replace my oil pan gasket, how difficult is this job? is there a write up somewhere on this forum? Or any help/tips would be great. Thanks in advance

Before you go down that road, make sure your pan gasket is actually leaking, instead of a leaking rear main seal or pressure sensor or whatever. I can't remember what those trucks look like (I used to have a friend with one of those, but it's been at least 10 years since I worked on it) but you'll probably have to move a crossmember or something like that to get enough clearance for the pan. Maybe the front diff if it's a 4WD.

Do those actually have a gasket, or do they use a sealant instead?

When I come up with questions like that, I Goggle it, which loads up a ton of info, & You Tube videos. Not just backyard guys, but Many actual mechanics, explaining & filming the repairs!

If it's 4wd the front diff will have to come out unless is got a drop bracket lift.

Or you can lift the motor up which ever is esier for you
