how hard is putting a new pinion bearing in

How hard is it to install, and does it require any special tools?
how bad is it to drive on a bad one if i am too lazy do this right away?

Um yea i would change it now.It could become pretty nasty if left alone.
The tools: you would need a press , a new crush sleeve if so equipt and a torque wrench and of course bearings.But if the pinion bearings are bad yo might aswell replace the 3 other ones while your at it.

You'll probably need a clamshell to get the old pinion bearing off unless you just cut it off.
