the last trail ride I was on was over a year ago. Early 2014 at Big Creek. Work seems to get in the way for most of the scheduled rides. My rig has been relegated to "driveway decoration." I keep thinking I need to sell it and buy a grocery-getter. But it doesn't cost me anything for it to hold down the driveway.

August or Sept last year, took my son to Rausch w/ a couple of buddies.
We drove the truck up... beat it up good... knocked off most of the (very rusty) exhaust... drove a very loud 2.5 hrs home.
Was a good day.

December 2013 , Uwharrie, broke my hip in Feb of 14 and forced myself to heal completely before I go jumping my next jeep. Only weeks away and jeep is no where close lol

Filled out my property tax forms the other day...checked odometers....... 0.0 for the year for the M715, and 0.4 miles added last year on the CJ5. :(

Since I really got to beat it, late October. A couple hot laps around the Flats with the kids in January but nothing since. I did drag an old boiler out of my neighbors yard last Thursday with 6" of snow on the ground, does that count?

lower your sig line says 1967 Kaiser M715 350-AA Ranger o/d-'pane "then a for sale button". I tried to clicky and no worky for me. Is it for sale??

On topic, does taking your tow pig up the entire perimeter of the flats early this year count??

... and just for the record, I thought this thread would be about something else...

You aren't the only one.

For me? Two weeks ago. Harlan. It was cold, but great!

When I was building my truck it went 3 years, 3 months without a trip. That was a sad time.

Black Friday trip to URE. Busted an axle shaft. Jeep has since then only been from the trailer to the lean to next to the shed lol. Hopefully will be ready for spring jamboree.

Richlands Road on January 31st, and a failed attempt to get up to White Top, VA in the snow February 21st. Been collecting a few parts for some necessary repair work (and some upgrades while I'm working) hopefully will have the truck back up in time for Harlan at the end of April.

Been too long period... Years... Sold my TJ 4 years ago, probably 6 months before that. Bought a YJ and have been slowly rebuilding it. All in due time...

Compared to what else I'm seeing, I say that more than counts.

The last REAL trail ride for me was RBD morris mtn fall of 2012. Or was it 2011. @01tj would remember. Drove a half ton Cherokee on 35s there, wheeled, partied for 4 days and during the drive home I had an aw4 transmission break in half raging down i20 in Augusta.
But with this new rig completed.... I've got some great wheeling coming up!
And oh..... Change gon come...

I've not been on the trail in about a month and the kids are itching to go if only the weather would corporate. I have wheeled about 25 days in the 15 months so I can't complain.

January 18th with RCPFA, Fried the clutch in my TJ on a particularly steep hill climb where my winch kept stopping and forcing me to move a bit to get it going again....

Tried to go last Sunday, but the weather didn't cooperate.

trying again this weekend.

Buried the Dodge in 6" of slop on Monday. That counts.

Sitting here racking my brain. Best I can remember it was 2010. I've got a trail on my land I ride around about once every 6 months. I put less than 100miles/year on the jeep, and those are street miles. Life gets in the way, and I just don't have time or motivation.

Uwharrie in mid November of 2014 (3.5 months ago). Prior to that it had been about another two years back to an open ride at the Flats the first week of January 2013. Broke the rear axle at that open ride, and life was VERY busy the last two years or so. I would like to go more often, but I put family and other things above wheeling on my priority list. I'm hoping to get out wheeling a handful of times in 2014. My Samurai is ready to go. I just need to buy a new spare tire for my trailer since one disintegrated going down I-40 last November on the way to Uwharrie.

wow, I am guessing Windrock back in 2012. Jeep has been downsized and probably has less than 100miles put on it since then. Should I sell it, probably. But it doesn't cost anything. It does do a good job moving the boat from the camper to the boat ramp all summer.
