Doin a spring over in a wrangler w fullsize axle. The current lift is four inch springs,2 inch body lift, and set of inch/inch and a half shackle.I want to be able to clear 38's but know I dont need all the lift thats under it now.The body lift looks fairly new with new bushins and while I dont nessacarily like them I will probably leave it to save the aggervation of takin it all back out.

Will a set of stock wrangler springs w the body lift clear 38's or should I use the shackles also.Im afraid w the current springs and the body lift it will be too tall when the spring over is done.Any suggestions???

Spring over is 6" in itself. Allot will depend on your axle width plus fenders and flares. I ran 38.5 sx spring over on stock springs. Full widths and flat fenders

I'd ditch the body lift, but that is just because I HATE the way they look.

Itll be full width and it a has had a wider set of flares put on it but still has the full fender.

Normally I do too.Depending on the way it looks when its done I might pull it out.

I have a 90 Wrangler soa on Waggy front springs which are about 2 inches over stock yj springs and inch and half shackles running 36 tsl stock fenders and have plenty of room to tuck tires under full flex. The 38s would fit w a little trim. Body lifts suck!o_O

I agree body lifts look terrible. Nothing like three extra inches of frame rail showing underneath.

I'm running stock, bastard packed XJ springs SOA with a 2" BL on mine. Works great. Was running 38's, now 39.5's

My dad has a body lift on his jeep as of now and it looks like crap. Were doing Wagoneer axles and plan to ditch the body lift one its done. As long as you have the wider flares and don't plan on running 15.50s id imagine you will be golden with whatever spring you choose.
