how old?

Anyone know how old a kid has to be to ride on a motorcycle on the road. I have searched online and found sites saying that they have to beable to reach the rear pegs but have not found a age.

I don't know that there is an age. I once passed a guy on 40 on a nice BMW. He had a special jacket that allowed him to basically strap his son to his back. Kid looked about 6 or 7, and happy as hell!

I wanna say 18 to get a permit but I could be wrong.

Edit: nvm I thought you said drive, no clue if theres an age for it, just make sure they can hang on.
