how to clean evap coil on 2000 era f250/350?????

I know how to clean it just to go ahead and get that out of the way. What i need to know is how to get to the damn thing. Ive pulled the blower moter, cant see it, pulled the heater core, cant see it. The only way ive seen the evap coil was when i pulled the blower moter resistor, which is a 1"x3" hole. Thats how i know its clogged to hell and back. The only way that I can see to get to it is go thru the procedure of actually removing it but without removing.

Is there an easier way than removing the cover of the air box? It appears that ill have to remove the intercooler pipe on pass side, the vaccum canister and inner fender just to get to all the screws to take off the cover.
 
I replaced the evaporator on my old 99 with a 7.3 in about an hour.
I don't remember every step, but I basically just removed any little items that kept me from removing the cover under the hood.
 
I figured i probably spent more te teying not to have to do that than it would have actually taken. Another day i reckon
