I need to get some oil stains and tranny fluid stains off of some smooth white concrete. I soaked the majority of it up with kitty litter and tried cleaning it with gasoline. Didn't work great... is there anything else that will take it up completely? thanks!

I have heard that if you take powdered laundry soap and scrub it will come off. Either that or try to find this stuff called "OIL EATERS" we used that at a lube shop I worked at and it worked great.

I've tried the OSR stuff from Lowes, Lighter stains go away, but darker stains don't completely go away.

Powdered laundry soap didn't work for me.

Best results I've had is using and Oil Stain removing acid (OSR), then gently using a pressure washer afterwards.

I'm interested in Brake parts cleaner though... I've used it to remove grease stains from clothes before. - And it worked.

Might wanna try a little WD40, as it has work for me to get stains off of clothes, and isn't as harsh as BPC.

Smooth white concrete carport here with some good ol Jeep oil stains...brake parts cleaner and my 2400 psi pressure washer? This is a rental property, so I want to clean it up so I'm not labeled as "one of them".

The oil dry at auto zone, the one that looks like powder mash pots., will draw in out also.....

I tried the pressure washer idea, it only makes the stain easier to see.

Just like cleaning the carpet in the house, makes the bad stains look even worse.

without sounding slow, what kind of ash?

just buy a jeep and put it on top of the stain and you will be like everyother member in the forum .

umm...my Jeep is what has caused the stains.

I've used brake parts cleaner for fresh stains, muratic acid for old stains. It even got my really old black diesel oil stains out

LectraClean, a CRC product you can buy in the electrical section at Home Despot. Not only does it flush oil off concrete, it will take tar off your roofing tools and is an excellent bug/wasp killer. Oh did I mention it is also nasty, don't breathe it, don't get it on your hands, and the label has an MSDS on the back?!?!?
