Any ideas? Anything a 15yr old can do easily? I can't find jack crap online for our state and I don't want to have to dispose of the gas by manually dumping a 15 gallon tank by myself.

You can take gas to household hazardous on Durant, but you have to surrender the container

You don't HAVE to.....I have asked nicely in the past, and they have dumped them and returned them to me.

I would grab (3) 5 gallon buckets from your favorite big box home improvement store (with lids). Pump into those and be nice to the guys at hazmat collection. White buckets help you to appreciate the color change of bad gas, if you get the chance.

If you were closer, I have an excess of 5 gallon buckets that previously held hydraulic fluid that you could have. Probably check with the local automotive or equipment service place that would buy fluids in 5 gallon buckets and they should have some extra.

Once you have some containers, the next step is to buy a cheapie siphon pump from walmart or the car parts store, and siphon the gas into the buckets. Buy a lighter log (firestarter) and set it out in a field or parking lot. Place all 3 buckets in line with the lids on, just in front of the lighter log. Light the log, step back at least 40 yards, and aim your favorite high powered rifle with some good solid core ammo (important to have the best chance of penetrating all 3 buckets) in the chamber directly at the center of the first bucket. Pull the trigger, and enjoy solving problems! :D

The last time I had old gas, it wouldn't even burn!

What kind of shenanigans is going on in here? 15 year old kid, trying to dispose of 15 gallons, but only has a 6 gallon bucket? I've seen these type of math problems before.

TOUGH SHIT KID, WE AINT DOIN YOUR HOMEWORK FOR YOU

Also, just pour that shit out.
We boutta just surrender the tank at this point. If our fuel filter is full of shit how do we know the tank doesn't have crap in it too

Let's not be telling 15 year olds to get a flame near fuel. Just last week thet were eating tide pods.
Actually I think that is the now 20 year olds. Tide pods are so last decade.

This summer I took bad gas out of a mower into a 5 gallon bucket. I planned on using it to start a fire. I forgot about it. The next day I went to get it, and it had all evaporated. Probably won't work when it isn't 100 degrees.

I usually just pour my old fuel or used oil in a nearby river or steam. Basically just returning it back to nature where it belongs.
Its organic!

I have a 15 gal drum i put all old oil, gas, hyraulic, etc. And then i use 50/50 with gas as a bonfire starter

If i had old gas to get rid of, id put in a super soaker and see if its possible to have fun with my next outdoor fire

Tried it and it only lasted a short while. It ate the plastic parts unfortunately. Was cool while it lasted though.

This.
Two years ago I drained the tank in 4runner into a blue bin. Not knowing how I was then going to get rid of the turpentine-like sludge (and that was only about 5 years old) I may or may not have just left it sitting out under a high cover to prevent from filling with rainwater. Came back some time later and my problem had mysteriously become not my problem, aside from a stinky bin I just put in the trash.

In all seriousness this "gas" should be barely anything but sludge. It's unlikely to be very flammable at all.
@Gabey not knowing what the vehicle is... unless it is something really rare, consider that the tank is likely nasty inside also and you're as well off just buying another one anyway.

No age restriction anymore? I remember having to wait to become of age to join back in the day

Start a good fire and then toss it on it....it will at least evap it even if it won't burn.

Works as great weed killer, but everything will smell like it for a while

Props on trying to do something proper with it instead of just dumping it out though!
