Another comment... I would personally suggest joining one of the SFWDA participating clubs... and then join others as desired.
I am a member of CTB (they are my SFWDA/UFWDA connection) then outside of that I am a member of CORE (got to send them a check), TLCA, Olde North State Cruisers, those are all $ clubs.
The "little" clubs are great for local buddies, but the bigger clubs offer alot more for your buck! Well organized rides, charities, etc.
Based on your location CTB is your best bet, CORE would be 2nd and then CNC guys. This is solely on location / not any other criteria. (Big Dixie Bogger guys are in that neck of woods too..not sure if they are a SFWDA crew or not!?)
