How to make a GM auto trans passenger side drop

I have a 2wheel drive 2002 5.3 and 4l60 trans ready to go into my M715. It runs great.

I have the stock NP200 tcase, which is a divoreced setup.....what I had planned to use.

However, the NP200 is a 'limiting factor' in the truck...makes alot of noise and gets hot....not that big of a deal, but exploring options while everything is out.

I want to keep the engine and trans I have...its a known quantity.

How can I make it 4wd with passenger drop tcase?

-Jeep/scout divorced np205....rare
-Swap the 2wd tailshaft and get a passenger drop tcase to mate? which one?
-I have a passenger drop dana 20 tcase, but only see adapters for non-computer controlled 700r4 and 4l60s
-?

Ideas?

4wd tail housing on the trans and np 208, np 241 etc or d300 and change the 300 Input to match the Chevy output.

Step 1 buy an advanced adapters super short 4l60 adapter. Step 2 put Chevy np241 or atlas behind it. The atlas adapter pattern is same as np231/241

You do have to rebuild the trans and use the output shaft that comes with the adapter

Chevy divorced 205? Simplest answer once you find it. Dodge will work as well.
