Got a set of Michelin XL military tires one is covered with green military paint....anyone know the best way to remove it?

Have you tried paint thinner? I assume it wouldn't be strong enough. Next option would be paint stripper from Lowe's, or some type of "vandalism mark remover" stuff. Does it have paint on both sides? You could just mount it the other way (may have to do two if they are directional).

Brake fluid will bubble the paint right off. Not sure of the effects on the rubber..

seeing as how brake lines are rubber... should be ok...
I agree w/ air down and burnout.

CARC paint is pretty tough stuff, but it'll wear off eventually.

I can tell ya from restoring an M416 trailer that CARC is the devil! I literally had to grind, not sand, grind the paint off of it!

Put it on the right side of the truck so the paint is on the inside. Bam. Done.
