We're in mandatory water restrictions, so is there a way I can get the tranny fluid off my driveway without a water hose? It is quite a bit. I'm thinking it is going to precipitate tonight, so would baking soda or anything like that help if I spread it out before it rains/snows, then let mother nature rinse it off?

sweep up the excess with oil dry or kitty litter, then spray with brake parts cleaner. The BPC will leave the area cleaner then the rest of the driveway. Powerwash the whole thing when water restrictions are lifted.

If the stains stay on there, then muratic acid/water mix works wonders, even left on there for long periods of time (like to wait on water restrictions to be lifted)

try mixing a little gasoline and sawdust together and use it as a sweeping compound. just let it sit on the spot, move it around, then let it sit some more. The gasoline will break the ATF down, and the sawdust will absorb it. Should work for most of it

Make sure you start off with 10:1 or so water to muriatic/hcl. And add the acid to the water.

Another good method is cat litter as stated, but grind it into the concrete with your foot real well and let sit before sweeping it up. If the stains are relatively new, this will work just fine.

Well, I didn't have time to try any of this before it started raining and snowing here today. I guess I'll get on it this coming week.

Good news is that I have no more tranny leaks!!
