so i have 3 forged 427's that i want to ship out.
weighs like 70pounds a peice.
so i figure il through them in a crate and ship them off, but i dont really know hot to protect the journals and counterweights from rolling around to much. or exposing them to any damage..
any ideas...i was thinking foam but i know its going to get crushed when the crank is rolling around.

Start rolling in cardboard til they are pretty large, then wrap with good packing tape and then tie with strong twine. I've shipped probably 5 cranks in my time and never had any complaints. Even the UPS dude enjoys them cause he can roll them if he had to.

If its something you really care about x2 on the wood crate w/ supports for each journal. Other wise the cardboard tube is fine...
