how2 determine Gear ratio in front Diff Toyota 4Runner 4x4

I have a 1994 4runner. need to replace front diff. how do i tell without removing/taking things apart what gear ratio is in there so I can get junk-yard to pull off another diff with the same ratio?

Spin it...count the pinion rotations as opposed to wheel rotations. Don't trust the pinion color mine lied....

There should be some codes in the door jamb that you could look up. At least there was in the land cruiser

Service the rear axle and check the ratio there so they match...
