HP 8 lug 44 front and 38.5's???

bad combo??? i'm easy on it when i wheel..... will be doing mainly uwharrie and other "local" places..... i plan to keep it open for a while then maybe throw in some chromo shafts and possibly a locker. it's in a 95 wrangler with a stock chevy 350

I've done it. Not really any problems and I've got a 460 in a heavy 78 Bronco. You need chomoly shafts and joints.

Yea, chromo's and full circle joints. Mine was eating shafts and joints until I upgraded.

i ran my cj with a 44 for a while with a chevy 44 and stock shafts locked. i never had a problem on the trail. I drove totally different.....pretty easy, with the setup.

thanks for the input guys..... like many people..... i'm on a budget..... i'm getting a good deal on a HP44/14 bolt set 4.10 gears, rear discs, setup already for a SOA YJ and front has histeer arm..... gonna fork out the dough for NEW tires..... always bought used..... i deserve them!! doing a rear stretch, fuel cell, the whole 9 yards..... like i said..... i don't like to beat my stuff..... they call it crawling for a reason right?!?!?

i'm gonna run the 44 until i either find a deal on a 60 or just kill it!
