HPD60 axle shaft too tight?

Building my front D60 and went to install the chromo axle shafts this evening. On the long side, when I installed the spindle and tightened it down, the inner shaft is rubbing the axle tube and will not turn freely. I measured the stub shaft and it is the same length as the stock one. Any ideas as to what might be the issue?

Grind it with a die grinder, a little at a time. I had to do this on Gonoverits hp60
 
Thanks Jeff. That was my first thought, but then I got to thinking some more so I gave up for the night and had another beer :lol:
 
ha, ha. When I did it I would grind some install the spindle then rotate the shaft, remove the spindle & then grind on the marks that it made from rotating. Rinse & repeat. LOL
 
All good now. Exactly what I did. :beer: Moving on to the rear axle.
