I'm doing a disc brake swap on my CJ. It looks like everything is piecing together OK, I just need to decide which locking hubs to use. Axle is a Dana 30.
1st set is a pair of Selectro manual hubs. I have been using them for several years.
2nd choice is Warn hubs, from a Scout, with the IH logo instead of Warn. I have read that these are not as strong/dependable as other Warns. Also, that they may be desirable to restorers, what with them being IH logo'ed. (All this read online, so may or may not have any truth to it).
Both lockouts are in good condition. Budget is $0, so I'd like to use something I already have, but would prefer Warn Premiums.
Which would you chose, and why?
