Huge grandcherokee

Front Axle: Dana 30 with 4:88 Gears and a Rubicon Express Front Shaft and Warn Diff Cover, Rear Axle: Dana 35 with Super 35 Kit and Crane Diff Cover, 4:88 Gears/Chromoly Shafts/Detroit Locker

What a numb nut, 38 swampers on a dana 30/35 combo, he spent 9 grand on the lift but cant even swap out axles...

I was shocked also. That thing has clearly never seen the woods. It's a wonder that rear held up on the street.

my friend goes to school at ecu and knows that kid and he told me that it has never been off road before or even looked at mud on the side of the road.

whats even worse is, someones going to buy that jeep, go 4wheeling by themselves snap an axle or four and be stuck out in the woods, for possibly days. They could die in this 78 degree weather of hypochondria..shame

Come one guys. Everyone knows that 30/35 combos are go up to a 40' tire. Look at the big white YJ in Wilmington. Erik bought it from another kid here and in the 4 years I've know the jeep it's been through many sand pits and mudholes and never broken an axle :flipoff2:

I love how all the cool ebay guys with their two foot lifts all brag that their trucks have never been offroad.

He was cruising Hickory one night and I was pulling into the local Sam's to buy something or other. I pulled in next to him in my Commando and checked it out before I went in. I didn't say anything though.
When I came out, there were 3 guys checking out my Jeep. Saying things like, " I can't beleive he didn't even paint the wheelwells with black before he brought it out, it would look much better" and " I don't know how he fit 35s and mine (the cherokee)is still so much taller".
I just laughed and got in. They told me I could have a nice Jeep if I cleaned it up and lifted it a little more.

prick kid with a prick automobile....

Honestly, any kid with a Grand Cherokee does something stupid with it. A kid at my school has one that is totally "pimped" out. Hes got it on spinners, lifted a bit, chrome brush guard, chrome tail light guards...

hell its easier just to do this...

uglyjeepoffroad, i live down in Hickory and havent seen your Commando yet. I'll be on the lookout, Commando's are pretty awesome.

Not my thing, but high school kids do some dumb shit to cars/trucks. I know I did when I was 17, But I always put way more $$$$ in to performance than looks. My favorite sleeper was an 84 nissan maxima, rear wheel drive (not front wheel garbage like now) with a 5speed and ZXturbo motor swapped in. This was done pre-internet(which most of you have no idea what that is) with limited info, except several articles I read where Paul Newman had done the same thing in an 82 model a year or so earlier. An unbelievable car to drive in 1987 . I knew about drifting back then, but we just called it "going on a hell ride"..lol. Point is it seems gay to us cause it's not our thing, but even now I have problems explaining to some friends why I chose to wheel. It comes from people I used to do SCCA racing with, they think what I do now is quite "redneck", but it's because it isn't there thing. Get it?

I Know people just like that, can't avoid them, they seem to pop up everywhere even on this very page!! I can't stand people who have big mouths and think that they are "Too Cool For School".

ive seen that thing around town. it is mad scary around turns

Wait..there was a time when internet was...gasp....not here?? And paul newman fixed up cars instead of making salad dressing??????

You must have more than a couple customizations or plan on having a lot. Its hard to explain but it pretty much means you have to have a nice ride that will make peoples mouths drop. haha to decide this your car will be looked at by all members at the time and either approved or not. If you are approved you will be givin a nickname.
those are some sweet club requirements....
