Hunting questions

Im very experienced with pistols, rifles, shotguns.... im just trying to learn the NC hunting seasons, regulations etc? is there anyone here that can provide me with a quick reference. also, whenever hunting (deer) season with rifles starts is there anywhere within 30-45 mins of raleigh with some decent action i could go to?

http://www.ncwildlife.org/Regs/Regs_Hunt_Trap.htm <--- get a rules a regs book here or go to your local sporting goods store Dicks, Bass Pro etc, and get one. Word of advice, follow the stuff in the book! i got lazy this past year and forgot to call a few in and found out the hard way that Game Wardens do not play around!
