Hurricane Creek road

I never leave trash anywhere and definitely don't want to trespass on anyone's land. Thanks for the advice.

Adventure concluded. Came in from the Max Patch side and emptied out on I-40.

Looks like a good time. Could it be done in a stock 4runner? I need to take the wife and kid on an easy 4x4 adventure soon.

That depends on whether or not you take the top off.

She gets annoyed when I try to take her top off, especially if we're going out in public.

When i went last time a completely stock jeep renegade on street meats and open diffs was doing the trail like a champ. watched it complete the trail

@jeepinmatt what's the worst that could happen? You get stuck and reach out to anyone of us good ole mountain boys on here then we heckle the shit out of you about it. Very doable in almost any 4x4 if you can drive. I've seen plenty of small SUV's and a few Gubaro's make it with no issues.

I have no doubt I could do it, I just don't want it to be an hour of verbal lashings and "you're gonna scratch it" and unnecessary female panic cries.

It's been....years since I've been up there.
Looks more overgrown than I remember. Could a full size rig go through without scratches?

Sounds to me like the problem is that you're driving a vehicle that somebody is worried about scratching.

Yes I just idled thru it open on 31's in 2 low. Disappointing but nice ride

yeah. its definitley not a "trail" with crawling... A buddy and I did the whole trail in 2wd high in a XJ just to make it more interesting.

A handful of CTB guys rode it today. Great Scenic cool ride, & 99% 2wd. But, Bumpy! We aired down, ran Low range, & it's Still bouncy!
We rode over to look at Max Patch, & had a great day!
Drive it in a TJ, actually pretty smooth.
