Everyone down east doing ok? We have family that lives on Oak Island that we have not heard from yet.

It's just starting to hit us now. MD Eastern Shore closed up, Ocean City completely evacuated. Apparently there's worry about parts of Baltimore getting flooded lol.

day 2 with no power. One tree down, peacan is shreaded as are the pines.house and all out buildings came through unscathed.Cleaning up yard now listening to the drone of my new to me generator and a milesworth of drop cords.Be later on before I can cut up the fallen tree.Gas line on chainsaw rotted and I have to find some.
I thought Fran lasted a long time but this storm just kept on giving. It rained here from 1pm friday afternoon till 7 yesterday evening.Wind gusts in the 50 to 60 mile per hour range.i walked the parapit once every 30 minutes and said encouraging things to my pines everytime.

My grandmother and aunt live in Baltimore . so I am worried about them . my sister lives on eastern shore .

It apparently wasn't as bad as it could have been, snotpile of rain and wind, trees down everywhere, but didn't get the big water surge they were worried about, e.g. flooding hasn't been so bad.
Currently checking in on internet life via battery-powered laptop and cell-phone connection
My lab is on a land-bridge connected island at the top of the Bay... about 10' above sea level... so tomorrow AM get to find out if it stayed dry inside...
