Just got repair request from buyer and home inspector says I need plugs for the line set going into the air handler. Is there something specific to look for or just a generic grommet of sorts that will fill a hole?

What a silly thing. Home inspectors are a joke 75% of the time, but if that's the only kind of stuff he hit you for congrats. The trick is to tell the buyers "not my problem, you fix it" if they back out at this point they were going to anyway.

That being said half the time those have been melted off by a lazy installer brazing in the new lineset, you can get new ones in the Lowe's hardware aisle

He earned his money. Lots of little stuff like that that I don’t mind fixing, so it they can feel like they’re getting something. Only a couple hundred dollars worth of parts/materials. I knew I had some exterior trim boards I already planned on fixing that would come up in the CL100 inspection too.

He put some garbage in about the rafters extending below the ridge beam and needing additional framing. If it was good enough to pass inspection when the house was built 17 years ago and another previous home inspection....they can feel free to add all the framing they want after they buy it.

Went back up and looked at it a little better. Inspectors note say that those holes should be sealed for air loss purposes. The line on the right is actually in contact w/ the panel...so I dont think a grommet is going to work as I dont want to be forcing that line to move out of the way. Any issues with using some sort of putty to seal it up? Looks like the installer attempted to use the mastic tape for that purpose anyway.
