Ok, little background.

Surplus center ram
Taped box and ported ps pump
Added 12x14 hayden cooler

I'm virtual positive i have the line correct. I used the image from trail gears install instructions as a referance.

The ram is not hooked to the vehicle, it is hanging so everthing will bleed.

Symptoms -
1. When vehicle is off, turning the steering wheel causes the ram to move in the wrong direction.
2. When the vehicle is on, the ram moves in the right directon BUT!
3. It only fully extends at when i turn the wheel to full lock, and only moves while im turning the wheel, when im turning to the left.

Help:confused:

did you tap the box yourself? and do you have your draglink hooked up without the help of the drag link my hydro assist would't really do a whole lot. I don't know if that is characteristic of everyone elses stuff or just mine.
The moving backwards thing makes no sense to me at all the pressure is either going to move it in the correct direction or not unless you have it tapped in a bad place in the box and it is bleeding pressure into another vein causing it to turn in the wrong direction

I'm pretty sure its tapped correctly, I did it myself. I didnt go throught the vein, it would be pretty obvoius if I did. I thoroghly cleaned it.

The ram is hanging, not hooked to anything and no the drag link isnt hooked up, for that matter there are no hubs, axle shafts of tire on the truck either. Maybe that is part of the problem, no resistance while bleeding?

i just put TG hydro on mine the other day, i just hooked everything up. poured fluid in and with the wheels off the ground let it run for a bit and then cycled it lock to lock bleed fine.
